Fly to Barcelona El Prat (BCN). It has the most connections.
From Barcelona airport, take the regional train down the coast to Altafulla-Tamarit. The views are stunning, and the trip takes about 1.5 hours in total. Prefer to drive? Rent a car in Barcelona and you’re here in about an hour.
From the station it is about a 25-minute walk to Tamarit Beach Resort, or a short taxi ride.
Castillo de Tamarit is on the rocks; Tamarit Beach Resort is on the beach next to it. The weekend starts on Saturday evening.
Chapter V
The resort is on the beach right next to the castle, and it’s where we recommend you stay.
The castle stands on the rocks at the end of the beach. From the resort it’s a few minutes’ walk along the sand. No car, no taxi.
Coming by train to Altafulla-Tamarit? Follow the river Gaià down to the beach: about 25 minutes on foot, or a short taxi ride.
Most of our guests will stay here, so friends and family are close by all weekend, from welcome drinks to Monday brunch.

We’ve reserved a number of bungalows at Tamarit Beach Resort that our guests can book. You book and pay for your stay yourself, directly with the resort.
There are two types, each with a kitchen and a wooden terrace. They have two or three bedrooms, so you can share one with other guests.
Glamping lodge tent
Two bedrooms: one double, one with two single beds.
Good for Couples, or two couples sharing.
Bungalow
Three bedrooms: one double, one with two single beds, one with two single beds and a bunk bed for kids under 12.
Good for Three couples or a group of friends, in the newer area near the beach.
The resort will make a booking link for our guests. We’ll put it here as soon as we have it. It will be valid for three weeks.
Want to arrive earlier or stay longer? Email events@tamarit.com and mention our wedding. Prices are shown in the booking link. Prefer a hotel? Altafulla and Tarragona have more options, but you’ll need a taxi to the castle.
Chapter VI
Summer chic. The ceremony and drinks are outside, dinner and the party inside. Bring something warm for the evening.
The castle has stone paths, so block heels are easier than stilettos.
The wedding is adults only. Bringing children on holiday? Let us know and we can help arrange a babysitter. Only the people named on your invitation are invited; ask us first if you want to bring someone else. If it rains, everything moves inside.
Add dietary requirements to your RSVP.
Your presence is enough. If you would like to give something, we are saving for our honeymoon.
